Offering A Wide Variety Of Veterinary Services in Oakland Park, Fort Lauderdale

Our veterinary hospital would like all of our customers to know about the services we provide for pets. Our services cover a wide range of patient needs including emergency pet surgery, dental emergencies, vaccinations and flea and tick infestations. Vaccinations are an especially important aspect of a pet's health because they work to strengthen a pet's immune system against viruses to improve long-term health.

Our services also include pet grooming and pet boarding. Our pet grooming services involve bathing pets, trimming nails, brushing teeth and other techniques intended to improve hygiene and appearance. Pet boarding is another service our veterinary clinic provides, which offers care and comfortable housing to pets while the owners are away.

Some of the routine surgeries we perform at our animal vet clinic include spaying and neutering. For spay and neuter procedures, our professionals use advanced treatment techniques in order to ensure that pets are comfortable during the procedure. Our emergency pet hospital also provides medicine and special care for pets suffering from digestive problems to help restore their health and diet once again.

For more advanced procedures, such as surgery, our Oakland Park emergency pet hospital uses only the most current technologies to ensure a minimally invasive procedure. These technologies include lasers, X-ray machines, EKG equipment and more. We want to ensure pets and owners feel comfortable coming to our veterinary hospital for special care during these highly advanced procedures.

Our emergency pet hospital (known as the Animal Emergency Trauma Center) and our regular veterinary hospital both work together in the same building to provide pets with a safe and trusted place to go 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Dr. Spencer L. Ratnoff founded the Animal Emergency Trauma Center in 1987. In addition to the care we provide in our building, we also routinely help out various animal rescue groups, attend pet expos, career days and local school programs to educate local residents.

Our animal hospital cares for your pets in Plantation, Davie, Tamarac Margate, Pompano Beach, Lauderdale By-The-Sea, Sea Ranch Lakes Lauderdale Lakes, Lauderhill, North Lauderdale, Sunrise, Fort Lauderdale, Wilton Manors, Lazy Lake and the surrounding areas. • "AWESOME, Dr. Spencer Ratnoff is the best he treated my cat for a fractured top k9 tooth, when He finished with him, he looked like he was born without a k9 tooth. He did that surgery so well it’s refreshing a Dr that actually cares, his team is wonderful and very attentive, I left a message and not even 10 minutes later, I got a call back. My family is forever grateful .thank you for everything."
    Maryem K.
  • "I initially had a bad experience due to the Doctor that was in on that day. I returned for a checkup for my girl 'Cali' 'Cat' and the energy Dr. Ratnoff had was much better with my girl as she can be very temperamental. I was very pleased during this visit as Dr. Ratnoff had more patience and better vibe as our pets sense negative energy. Its a shame my first experience was not pleasant but I will be back and only ensure Dr. Ratnoff with my girl. Thankyou Doc!"
